A Lamborghini engine needs repair when one of 6 symptoms shows, and on a Huracán the first is a "reduce oil level" message. The other 5 apply across the range. They are a climbing coolant temperature, an engine light with a misfire, coolant loss with no drip, Urus blue smoke and engine rattle.
On a Huracán, a pop-up reading "reduce oil level" next to a yellow oil warning light means the engine oil sits too high. Lamborghini wants the level no higher than halfway up the "Do not fill area". We drain the surplus until the level is back at that point.
A coolant temperature warning means the engine is overheating. Lost power and a loud pinging or knocking sound can mean the same. We trace the heat to the failed pump, thermostat, fan or hose and fit a new one.
The engine warning light comes on for a fault in the engine, the powertrain or the emission control system. A weak ignition coil leaves a cylinder misfiring and the engine down on performance. We replace the coil, plug or injector that fails on the misfiring cylinder.
Coolant that goes missing with no visible leak calls for a look inside the expansion tank. Oil floating there signals a failed head gasket or an engine oil cooler that leaks. We replace the gasket or the oil cooler at fault.
On any turbo engine, blue smoke with rising oil use brings the turbochargers into the search for the cause. A turbo oil return pipe that is clogged or carbonised is one route for that oil. We replace the blocked pipe and repair the part that lets oil through.
On an engine with a timing chain, a stretched chain shows as clicking or rattling on the move. The engine light can come on with it. We fit a new chain with a new tensioner, tensioning rail and slide rail.

Lamborghini engine failure in Dubai comes from 6 main causes, and Lamborghini has acknowledged one of them: stone chips on the Urus coolant radiator. The other 5 begin with a faulty cap or thermostat, dirty radiator fins and a turbo short of oil or damaged by sand. Fouled spark plugs and dirt past the air filter complete the list.
August afternoons at Dubai International Airport average a 41.9 °C high, and rising sand is logged there on 17.7 days per annum. In a stationary queue, a car gets no road air, so the radiator fan moves all the cooling air itself.

A lit engine light can signal possible catalytic converter damage, and that damage can cost engine power. A misfire repaired early spares the converters.
A sound cap raises cooling system pressure by about 0.3 to 1.4 bar, which lifts the coolant boiling point to 104 to 110 °C. Dubai air has reached 48.8 °C, so that margin counts.
Coolant that enters the combustion chamber through a failed gasket cannot be compressed. The piston then takes an abrupt load, known as hydraulic lock. A new gasket keeps coolant out of the cylinders.
Exhaust emissions are part of the periodic RTA test that a registration renewal needs. A repaired engine fault removes one reason for the car to fail that check.
An oil-starved turbo leaves the engine short of air. The fuel-air mixture turns too rich, and black smoke leaves the exhaust. With its turbos fed again, a Urus V8 breathes properly.
Antifreeze lubricates the coolant pump and its seal and protects the circuit against corrosion. Correct coolant back in the system restores that protection.
Lamborghini engine faults that need Lamborghini software, recall work or high-voltage work go to a Lamborghini dealer. On these cars, we confirm the symptom and refer the car to the dealer for the fix. The list below covers the Huracán, the Aventador and the hybrid models.
Each Lamborghini engine job at our workshop runs through these steps:
We note the conditions the fault shows under: engine speed, outside and engine temperature, and how long the car had run. Every test that follows matches them.
A diagnostic tester gives us the stored fault codes and live engine data. A symptom with no stored code can come from an intake air leak, tested in step 5. The part named by the code is then replaced.
We put the cooling system under pressure and watch for a falling reading and visible leaks. The cap goes on a tester for its opening pressure. Whatever leaks or fails is replaced.
A compression test finds the cylinder that loses pressure. In a leak-down test, bubbles in the coolant at the filler neck can mean air passing the head gasket. We then replace the gasket, and worn rings or valves go to a Lamborghini dealer.
We pressurise the intake without smoke first and watch for pressure decay. Smoke then shows where the air escapes, and no part is replaced until a leak is found. The leaking hose or seal is renewed.
The road test repeats the conditions noted in step 1. Back at the workshop, we recheck the oil and coolant levels and look for seepage at every joint we opened.

The cost of Lamborghini engine repair in Dubai depends on 4 things. They are the engine family, the part that failed, what must be replaced alongside it and how far damage has spread. A replacement turbocharger, for example, takes a new charge-air cooler and air filter at the same time, plus new engine oil and an oil filter.
We price each job on the parts that fail our tests. Lamborghini software and recall work sit outside our price, since a Lamborghini dealer carries them out.

Lamborghini moved the Huracán to G12evo coolant, while earlier cars stay on G13. We fill a G12evo Huracán with 22 litres, mixed 60 per cent water to 40 per cent coolant.
A pressure cap on a hot system stays shut at our workshop. We let the coolant fall below 90 °C before we open it.
A failed pump, thermostat or radiator leaves foreign objects and contaminants in the circuit. We flush the whole cooling system after each part we replace.
Every new expansion tank we fit gets its own new lid, and every new radiator its own filler cap. A worn cap valve has no place on a fresh part.
Radiator sealant stays out of every Lamborghini we repair. A leak ends with a new part where the old one failed.
Fitting a fresh plug clears a fouling misfire for a while if the cause is still there. Our technicians find what fouled the old plug and fix that first.

A Huracán Tecnica carries a 5.2 litre V10 of 640 CV with dry-sump lubrication. The Huracán STO uses the V10 of the Huracán EVO and Super Trofeo, with dual injection.
The Aventador Ultimae runs a 6.5 litre V12 of 780 CV, and the Aventador S V12 makes 740 hp. The Urus has a 3,996 cc 90° V8 with twin-scroll turbochargers, and the Urus Performante reaches 666 CV.
A Lamborghini engine stays healthy in Dubai with 4 owner habits: warming a Urus before high revs and turning the A/C off as heat climbs. Adding coolant slowly and servicing on schedule complete them. We repair any fault these habits bring to light.
When a cold engine goes straight to high revs, the oil film in a turbocharger can tear off. Give a Urus time to warm before you use its full rev range.
A temperature gauge heading towards overheating is the moment to turn the A/C off. Then book the cooling system in for a check.
Coolant poured suddenly into an engine that overheated from low coolant can crack the engine. Let it cool, then add coolant slowly.
Lamborghini sets its service intervals market by market. Oil left past its change point can lose performance, and the engine condition can suffer.
