Renault major and minor service
Each service covers the items listed as due for the car's step, and we renew parts those checks find worn. Fluids, filters, brakes, tyres and lights are checked every time.
Expert care for the Duster, Koleos and Captur. OEM parts, and up to 35% off on repairs.

Tell us what the car needs and how to reach you. A service advisor will call you back to talk through the work.

Renault Battery ReplacementOur Renault work splits into systems, one card each, running from scheduled servicing to wiring. Every card says what we do on that system.

Renault names its engine oil specifications with RN numbers, such as RN17 (5W-30), RN700 and RN710. Every oil change from us includes a new filter, and the oil we fill meets the RN specification for that engine.
We follow an oil leak, misfire or overheating engine to the component behind it, and renew that component. The GCC New Koleos brochure (2016 capture) lists the 2.5 litre QR25DEg3 at 126 kW. In the GCC Duster brochures (2016 capture), the engine is the 2.0 litre F4R.
Renault's GCC brochures (2013 to 2017 captures) list X-Tronic CVTs, EDC dual-clutch gearboxes and conventional automatics. We find the seal, solenoid or part behind a shift fault and renew it. The gearbox is then refilled with the fluid it takes.
The New Koleos (2016 capture) pairs its QR25 with the New X-Tronic CVT on 4x2 and 4x4 versions. The Captur TCe 120 (2015 capture) has a 6-speed EDC dual-clutch gearbox, and the Talisman TCe 190 (2016 capture) a 7-speed EDC.
Pads, discs, drums and shoes are renewed as axle sets, and we bleed the hydraulics after any repair that opens them. The GCC Duster 4x2 (2016 capture) brakes on 9 inch rear drums, and the GCC Symbol (2017 capture) on 8 inch rear drums.
The GCC New Koleos (2016 capture) has ventilated 296 mm front discs and an automatic parking brake. On that car, our diagnostic tool retracts the parking brake before rear pad work.
We locate a knock or a pull and replace the worn arm, bush, shock absorber or track rod end. The wheel and steering alignment is then set.
The GCC Talisman (2016 capture) has Multi-Sense, with electronically controlled variable damping. A GCC New Koleos (2016 capture) runs MacPherson front struts with a multilink rear.
The Koleos HZG handbook covers R-134a as well as R-1234yf, and for R-1234yf a label in the engine compartment gives the refrigerant quantity. On a Captur coded X87, a label in the same place shows the refrigerant type. We leak-test the system, then charge the gas and quantity that label names.
Renault fits the Koleos HZG with a specific 12 V battery type and says any new battery matches it. Our battery job starts with a load check of the old unit and the charging circuit, and the new one is that same type.
On a Koleos HZG, Stop and Start does not put the engine on standby when the battery is not sufficiently charged. Outdoor heat or cold and 4WD Lock block it too, so our check rules those out before the battery test.
A fault code sends us along its circuit, connector by connector, until the faulty section shows up. That wire, connector or module is then repaired or replaced.
On a Renault, the common problems behind Gulf recalls are a Symbol battery defect, a Symbol driver's airbag and Megane RS engine wiring. The Koleos HZG handbook adds 3 warning messages, for the battery, the charging circuit and the steering. Each item names the models first and ends with what we do.
We work on the Renault lines below, as Renault's GCC brochures and English handbooks (2013 to 2019 captures) describe them:
The second-generation Koleos is built in Busan for every market except China, on the CMF-C/D architecture. Renault's 2020 Megane Sedan update, built in Türkiye, was marketed in Saudi Arabia and the UAE. Renault plans the India-built 2026 Duster for the Gulf States at a later date.
Renault's service schedule runs on time and distance, whichever comes first. Renault Middle East (2015 capture) sets it that way because time wears parts as well as distance does. On a Koleos HZG, the display shows "Service due in" below 1,500 km or one month to go, then "Service required" with a warning light.
Depending on the vehicle, a Koleos HZG shortens the distance to its next oil change with low-speed driving, door-to-door trips, long idling or towing. We read the display and the distance at each visit, then carry out the items of that service step.
Every Renault we take in at DIP 2 follows the steps below.
We read out every control unit's stored faults and write down any message on the display.
Each code leads to a part. We test that part against its specification, and a part outside it is replaced.
The new part goes in, and we complete that step's listed service items to the Renault specification.
The car is driven to load the repaired system. A second scan follows for returning codes, and we reset the service display.
These methods shape how we handle Renault service in Dubai.
One Megane handbook (coded BFB) lists 6 engine types, from the M4R 2.0 16V petrol to the K9K and R9M diesels. We take the engine type from its plate, so filters and parts match the engine.
On a first-generation Koleos, 4WD Lock splits the power 50/50 between the axles and returns to AUTO above 40 km/h. Our road test checks 4WD Lock below that speed and AUTO above it, and we repair the 4WD part at fault.
Across 1991 to 2020, the Dubai airport weather station recorded every June to October day peaking at 30 °C or more. So each Renault service we carry out pressure-tests the cooling circuit and checks the coolant, and we repair any leak found.
We match each Renault against the recalls Gulf ministries have announced for its model. Renault dealers carry out recall work, and we handle the remaining jobs on the car.
The GCC Duster 4x2 and 4x4 (2016 capture) both use a 4-speed automatic, indexed DP0 on the 4x2 and DP8 on the 4x4. We read the index before a gearbox repair, so parts match the version.
Renault dealers take hybrid and high-voltage work, rebuilds of engines and gearboxes, driver-assistance calibration and jobs that need Renault special tools. Everything else on this page stays in our DIP 2 workshop.
Tell us the model and what it is doing, and we book it in at our Dubai Investment Park 2 workshop. Free pickup and drop-off by our driver comes with a service contract. Every service comes with a free car wash.
Regular servicing keeps small faults from turning into big repairs. Both packages are carried out by certified technicians using genuine or quality parts.
Each package is quoted for your car. Call +971 50 216 0864 with the make and model for an estimate.

3 things move the price of a Renault service in Dubai: the step due, the engine and gearbox, and worn parts we find. A GCC Talisman TCe 190 with EDC (2016 capture) is a different job from a GCC Symbol 1.6 automatic (2017 capture).
Yes. On a Renault hybrid, our work covers its brakes, tyres, dampers and 12 V battery. A Renault dealer handles the high-voltage hybrid system itself.
Yes. The GCC Safrane brochure (2014 capture) pairs its 2.0 litre with a CVT and its 2.5 and 3.5 litre V6 engines with a 6-speed automatic. The GCC Fluence (2013 capture) has 1.6 and 2.0 litre engines with the X-tronic CVT, and we service both lines.
Yes. The 4x4 versions of the second-generation Koleos use all mode 4x4-i, with 2WD, 4WD AUTO and 4WD LOCK modes. We service that system along with the rest of the car.
Call or send a WhatsApp message with your Renault model, its year and any message on the display, and book it in at our Dubai Investment Park 2 workshop.
