Audi Battery ReplacementBelow, our Audi service in Dubai is split into 9 systems, from the service items to the electrics. Each card gives the outline, and the Audi page for that job holds the detail.
Our service covers the items that the car's current step lists. They run from the engine oil, oil filter and sump plug to the pollen and air filters, spark plugs and brake fluid.
Each fill meets the VW oil standard listed for the engine. An RS Q8 takes 0W-40 to VW 511 00, and an RS 3 takes 0W-30 to VW 504 00 or 507 00.
We repair the TFSI petrol engines. They are the 2.0 TFSI four-cylinder of the EA888 family, the 3.0 TFSI V6 of the EA839 series and the 4.0 TFSI V8. Coolant and oil leaks, coolant pumps, thermostat housings and turbochargers are part of that work.
Audi calls its dual-clutch gearbox S tronic, and its automatic with a torque converter and planetary gearset tiptronic. We service and repair both, change their oil and check the quattro drive behind them.
Dampers, air springs, control arms and bushes are replaced on steel-sprung and air-sprung Audis alike. Any repair that moves the geometry is followed by our wheel alignment.
On Audi steel brakes, we replace the pads and discs. The A8 from 2017 carries an electromechanical parking brake in its rear callipers. On such cars, the pistons are wound back and the brake calibrated after the pad change.
We seal refrigerant leaks, replace compressors and condensers, and fill R134a or R1234yf to the weight on the label under the bonnet.
Audi fits an AGM starter battery as standard to each model with start-stop, and we replace it with another AGM. The old battery gets a test before any change.
Each warning goes back to a sensor, a wire or a control unit. We read the stored codes, follow them to the faulty part and replace it.
The common Audi problems with a recall or an Audi bulletin behind them fall into 6 areas, each tied to named models. Four concern the cooling of TFSI engines, and the other 2 are a Qatar recall and a software fix. We repair the mechanical faults and pass recall and software work to an Audi dealer.
Our Audi work covers these ranges. Where Audi names a generation, its code follows the model:
Two newer ranges share a 48-volt MHEV plus system: the A5 from 2024 and the third-generation Q5. The RS 3 runs the 2.5 TFSI five-cylinder, which Audi assembles by hand in Győr, Hungary.
Audi Middle East's 2017 service booklet sets its service steps by distance and by the age of the car. Its steps come at 15,000 km intervals, ending at 120,000 km. On the 2009 Audi Middle East site, auto check control showed servicing requirements on the display, beside any malfunction.
Beyond the engine items, the booklet lists brake fluid at 24 months and S tronic or multitronic gearbox oil at 60,000 km. A rear differential, on models that have one, takes new oil at 60,000 km or 48 months.
On that 2009 system, a red symbol marked a possible hazard, and a yellow one a caution. We read both and work through the items listed for the step your Audi has reached.
Each Audi service in Dubai at our workshop runs through 5 steps, from the first read-out to the road.
We note every message on the driver information system and read the fault memory in every control unit.
The engine code comes from the car itself. A Q8 can carry the 3.0 TFSI V6 with code DCBD or, as the SQ8, the 4.0 TFSI V8.
Each stored fault is set against the recalls announced in the GCC for that model. Recall and software work goes to an Audi dealer.
The faulty part comes out for a new one, and the items due at the car's step follow, with the oil its engine lists.
Stored faults are cleared and the service reminder reset once the work is done. We then drive the car on a road test to close the job.

Our Audi method stands on the practices below.
On a 12 V mild hybrid Q5, a lithium-ion battery sits next to the lead-acid one. The enhanced A8 runs every engine as a 48-volt mild hybrid. We identify the system on the car before any part comes off.
Each new battery is matched to the car's battery energy management, a step Audi Middle East calls for on cars with that system. The system then charges it as a new battery.
Audi codes each gearbox. The S tronic of a B9 A4 is a 0CK or 0CL, and the eight-speed automatic of a Q8 or A8 is the 0D5. We take that code from the car before choosing the oil.
An Audi ceramic disc can run for up to 300,000 km. We recognise a ceramic system before any brake work and pass it to an Audi dealer, while steel brakes stay with us.
High-voltage systems, 48-volt hybrid faults, R744 air conditioning, camera and radar calibration and gearbox rebuilds go to an Audi dealer. So does work that calls for Audi's own special tools.
Engine, gearbox, chassis, AC and electrical work on an Audi all happen at our Dubai Investment Park 2 workshop. The same workshop serves the other makes we cover.

Yes. We service the RS 3 with its 294 kW 2.5 TFSI five-cylinder, and the RS 6 and RS Q8, which share the 4.0 TFSI V8. The RS 6 Avant GT and the SQ8 shift through an eight-speed tiptronic.
Yes. We test and replace its 12 V battery, a 68 Ah AGM unit in the plenum chamber, and service its brakes. The 396 V high-voltage battery stays closed, and an Audi dealer handles that system.
Every A8 of the enhanced range comes with adaptive air suspension and controlled damping. On the Q8 it is optional, and the SQ8 comes standard with adaptive air suspension sport. On the RS Q8, the ride height changes by up to 90 mm. We replace air springs, struts and compressors on these cars.
The cost of an Audi service turns on 3 factors. They are the step the car has reached, the oil its engine lists and any worn part found. A step that adds spark plugs or brake fluid costs more than an oil and filter change. The service step on your car sets the first factor.
Call or send a WhatsApp message with your Audi model, its year and any message on the display, and book it in at our Dubai Investment Park 2 workshop.
