Bugatti's cover terms (2025 capture) ask that all work on the car goes to a Bugatti Service Partner, and we refer it there. Each card below says what our condition check reports to the owner, then which job goes to a Bugatti dealer.
A Chiron's 7,993 cm³ W16 runs 4 turbochargers in 2 stages, with separate oil coolers for the engine, gearbox and rear differential. Our report names any oil or coolant leak seen in the engine bay. The oil service and any engine work go to a Bugatti dealer.
On the Tourbillon, an 8.3 litre V16 works with 3 electric motors, and all high-voltage work goes to Bugatti.
Bugatti built the Chiron's 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox for 1,600 Nm, with the largest clutch on a passenger car. The Tourbillon moves to a new-generation 8-speed dual-clutch unit, paired with an electronic limited-slip differential.
Our report notes any gearbox or differential leak seen under the car. Clutch, gearbox and differential work goes to a Bugatti dealer.
A Chiron brakes on carbon silicon carbide discs of 420 mm at the front and 400 mm at the rear. Each front caliper holds 8 titanium pistons, and each rear caliper 6.
The Tourbillon pairs carbon-ceramic brakes with a brake-by-wire system. Pad and disc wear goes in our visual report, and every carbon-ceramic brake job goes to a Bugatti dealer.
The Chiron's adaptive chassis runs 5 driving modes through height adjustment and electronic dampers. The Tourbillon moves to forged aluminium multi-link suspension at both ends.
Our report notes tyre wear and any visible suspension fault for the owner. Tyre and wheel changes, suspension repair, alignment and chassis set-up go to a Bugatti dealer.
A Chiron runs 50 controllers for its engine, gearbox, chassis, air conditioning and comfort functions. Its front intakes cool the brakes, the water and the AC, so our report notes any debris in them and the vent temperature.
AC, battery and electrical repairs go to a Bugatti dealer.
Paint and cabin care are our own work on a Bugatti. We hand-wash, decontaminate and polish the paint, and clean and condition the cabin.
A paint protection film or a ceramic coating goes on at the owner's request. Panel, paint and carbon repairs go to a Bugatti dealer.
The common problems on a Bugatti sit on the Veyron and the Chiron family. They cover a rear driveshaft, turbocharger oil pipes, rear tyres, front frame screws, a seat airbag part and a generator cable. Bugatti's 2021 UAE Owners Drive gathered a Chiron Sport, 4 Chirons and 3 Veyron models. The W16 Mistral is the last road-going W16, with 99 built. The Bolide is a track car with no road permit, so it stays off this list.
A Bugatti is due for service at intervals of 12 months at most, even when it stays parked, because of condensation and other standstill issues. In the same 2026 capture, each Chiron goes through the Chiron Major at its fourth annual service. In 2026, Bugatti listed more than 70 checks and actions in every annual service.
From the fifth annual service on, a Chiron has a yearly Low service, with a Major at every fourth one (2026 capture). A Veyron keeps one service per annum, and the same capture adds that a car driven under 200 km annually still needs inspection and maintenance.
Worldwide campaign BUGCR033 (November 2020) added a service interval display to the Chiron's cluster with VR17.4 software. We check the Bugatti service record against this schedule during a condition check and refer each due service to a Bugatti dealer.

We check the car's 17-character VIN in Bugatti's recall look-up (2025 capture) and note each open campaign.
A Chiron crosses our workshop entry in Lift mode, which Bugatti made for trailers, speed bumps and entries. The car returns to EB Auto by itself at 50 km/h.
Our team looks over the paint, wheels, cabin and visible underbody, and reports each finding to the owner against the model's known campaigns.
Each finding that falls in Bugatti's reserved work goes on a written list for a Bugatti dealer. We then carry out the care work booked with us.

Bugatti has 3 Flying Doctors, one of them for the Middle East, who travel to the nearest partner workshop or to the owner's home. We leave their work to them and keep ours to checks and care.
Bulletin BUGCS014 (June 2020, all markets) sends the Chiron's VR17.2 software update through Molsheim staff or a partner with a Remote Case. We change no software or setting on a Bugatti control unit.
Bulletin 16-03-003BUG (all markets, March 2016) secures the RPS plates on the monocoque of the Veyron, Grand Sport and Super Sport with rivets. The car stays off a lift for 24 h after that repair, so we confirm its date before a Veyron goes up.
Bugatti took an earlier Tourbillon prototype to Dubai, where it met temperatures above 50 °C. Dubai airport's highest daily maximum reached 48.8 °C over 1991 to 2020. We wash and polish a Bugatti in shade, never on hot paint.
Bugatti's partners run an 85-point inspection before a car joins Passeport Tranquillité, and a 110-point check on each car in its pre-owned programme. Our pre-purchase check gives a buyer a separate view of the paint, cabin, tyres and records.
Bugatti fits accessories and modifications through its own technicians, and converts a Chiron to Chiron Sport status in Molsheim. We do no tuning, remapping or modification on a Bugatti.
