A grinding noise from a wheel
A grinding noise under braking means the pad has no friction material left. We confirm the wear, then refer new pads and a disc check to a Bugatti dealer.

A Bugatti brake problem shows as grinding, a sinking pedal, fade with a burning smell or a car that drifts toward one side under braking. We match each sign to the part at fault, then fix it here or hand it to a Bugatti dealer.
A grinding noise under braking means the pad has no friction material left. We confirm the wear, then refer new pads and a disc check to a Bugatti dealer.
A sinking pedal comes from too little fluid or from air caught in the lines. We renew a leaking hose or line in our workshop and bleed out the air.
Fade sets in when overheated pads release resin gases, which sit between pad and disc and weaken the bite. The wheels give off a sharp, burning smell at the same time. We check the cooling paths and the fluid, then refer heat-damaged pads to a Bugatti dealer.
Pads soiled by fluid, parts that do not match or a sticking calliper leave one side braking harder, and the car pulls toward it. We trace any fluid on a pad to its source. Soiled pads and a dragging calliper go to a Bugatti dealer for renewal.
Our side of a Bugatti brake job covers these items:
We run this list on each W16-engined Bugatti.
In Dubai, Bugatti brakes suffer from axle load, stop-start traffic, track use, blocked cooling air, a dragging calliper and ageing fluid. The first 3 wear the pads and discs, the next 2 add heat, and ageing fluid turns to vapour sooner.
Over 3.5 million vehicles travel Dubai's roads daily, while rising sand averages 17.7 days per 12 months. We judge front and rear pads apart and send a worn axle set on to a Bugatti dealer.
When we and the Bugatti dealer each do our share correctly, the driver gets these results:
Bugatti lists a Chiron stopping from 100 km/h in 31.4 m and from 400 km/h in 491 m. Sound pads, discs and fluid return that margin to the driver.
With fresh fluid in the circuit, the boiling point stays high and vapour bubbles cannot form. The pedal keeps its travel through a run of hard stops.
On a Divo, the air that cools the brakes also holds the tyres in their optimum temperature range. Clear cooling paths let that air do both jobs.
Each Chiron calliper mixes pistons of different diameters, which spread pressure over the whole pad and stop uneven wear. Pads made for that calliper keep the wear even.
Dubai's RTA periodic test, required for each registration renewal, checks the service brake for mechanical condition and function.
Chiron callipers pair low weight with high rigidity, for a direct response and easy dosing of the brakes. Fresh pads in sound callipers keep that feel.
On a Veyron, Chiron or Tourbillon, Bugatti brake pads and disc replacement goes to a Bugatti dealer, as all 3 stop on carbon-ceramic discs. On the Chiron, those discs work with callipers developed especially for Bugatti. We inspect the pads and discs first and send our findings to the dealer with the car.
A Veyron calliper is a rigid 8-piston monobloc unit holding 4 pads, reinforced with a central bar and weighing 5.7 kg. Its titanium pistons carry stainless-steel crowns with ceramic heat shielding.
Chiron callipers are forged from aluminium, then milled to an asymmetric design based on structures found in nature. Each 8-piston front calliper weighs 4.9 kg.
On the Tourbillon, a Bugatti controller blends the brake-by-wire system with the hybrid drive. We inspect a Tourbillon's brakes and refer each repair, fluid renewal included, to a Bugatti dealer.
Bugatti brake work in our bay runs in these steps.
Our technician drives the car to feel the complaint first. Our scan tool then reads the faults stored by the brake system, and each code tells us which part to inspect next.
With each wheel off, we look at the friction material left on every pad and check each disc face for cracks. Disc weighing goes to a Bugatti dealer.
Our tester reads the fluid's boiling point. A reading under 180 °C means the fluid is renewed.
On a Chiron, 3 inflows on each side feed cooling air through the wheel rim, and rear intakes cool the rear brakes. A heat shield guides the hot air through the brakes and out of the car. We clear a blocked path and refer a damaged shield to a Bugatti dealer.
Old fluid leaves at each bleed point until fresh fluid runs out with no bubbles. The pedal is then pressed repeatedly until it moves through its usual stroke.
Pads at their limit, a cracked disc or a dragging calliper go to a Bugatti dealer with our inspection findings.

The Bugatti dealer that renews the pads and discs prices that part of Bugatti brake pads and disc replacement in Dubai. Our share rests on 3 factors: the fluid renewal, any hose or line we replace, and repairs to the cooling paths. Our quote follows the inspection result.
Our Bugatti brake method rests on these habits:
We never machine, swap or refit carbon-ceramic discs or pads. Calliper overhauls go to a Bugatti dealer too.
Each brake fluid carries a DOT class, and dropping below the class the maker sets is unsafe. The fluid we fill matches Bugatti's class or exceeds it.
Grease, oil and degreaser stay away from every pad, disc and brake line we work near.
A brake hose is never clamped shut in our bay, during fluid work or line work.
Bolts go back in the right sequence and are set to their correct torque with a torque wrench.
Road tests after brake work use smooth applications of the pedal, none held past 3 seconds. Noise and vibration are what our technicians listen and feel for.
We inspect the brakes on these Bugatti models:
Tell us the make, model and what the car is doing, and we book it in at our Dubai Investment Park 2 workshop. Free pickup and drop-off by our driver comes with a service contract. Every service comes with a free car wash.
Regular servicing keeps small faults from turning into big repairs. Both packages are carried out by certified technicians using genuine or quality parts.

No. On a carbon-ceramic Veyron, Chiron or Tourbillon, that job belongs to a Bugatti dealer. Our DIP 2 workshop repairs leaking brake hoses and lines and clears the brake cooling paths on W16 models.
A carbon-ceramic disc's mass falls by about 1.25 per cent between new and worn out. One way to measure that wear is to take the disc off and weigh it, which a Bugatti dealer does for us.
No. On a Veyron at high speed, the air brake alone gives up to 0.6 g of deceleration, while the wheel brakes give around 1.4 g. The air brake acts from 200 km/h upwards, so town braking falls on the pads and discs.
Yes. We test and renew the brake fluid on every W16 Bugatti, Veyron 16.4 and W16 Mistral included. A Bugatti dealer handles the Tourbillon's fluid renewal and its brake repairs.
Call or send a WhatsApp message with your Bugatti model, its year and what the car is doing, and book it in at our Dubai Investment Park 2 workshop.
