A car airbag fault shows 6 signs. The SRS warning lamp gives 2 of them: a broken start-up pattern, or a lamp lit by a seat belt pretensioner. A warning after body work or after seat and trim work makes 2 more, and a crash leaves deployed airbags and used belts.
On a general-market 2025 Hyundai Tucson, the SRS lamp marks a fault when it skips its start-up check of about 3 to 6 seconds. A lamp that stays on after that check, comes on while driving or blinks with the engine running marks a fault too. Hyundai states that the airbag can then fail to inflate properly in a crash.
We follow the fault back to its sensor, belt or wiring part, then fit a new part in its place.
On the 2025 Tucson, a pretensioner that is not working lights the airbag warning lamp even when the airbags have no fault. We replace a faulty pretensioner with a new one.
Hyundai warns that body work on the front of the 2025 Tucson can damage its pretensioner seat belt system. We inspect each impact sensor near a repaired area, and replace a damaged sensor together with the hardware that holds it.
On the 2025 Tucson, items placed under the front seats can interfere with the SRS sensing parts and wiring harnesses. A modified front seat can interfere with the side airbags in the same way. We clear the floor under the seats, inspect the seat harness and replace any part with a damaged connector.
Hyundai recommends that a Hyundai dealer replace inflated airbags. We disconnect the battery and inspect the wiring and sensors around each deployed part. The new airbags and control module are then fitted at the maker's dealer, where we refer the car.

On a Model 3, Tesla calls for the 12V/LV power to be off for at least 1 minute before any SRS harness is unplugged. On a Model S, the energy reserve capacitors take 1 minute to discharge. We disconnect the battery and keep to the wait the maker sets for the car.
We inspect every seat belt anchor point and any undeployed knee airbag near the crash, as Tesla sets out for the Model 3. A bent or cracked anchor part comes out, and a new part goes in.
We fit each new SRS part with new fasteners, as Tesla requires on the Model S. Every part stays clear of oil, grease, detergent and water during the job.
On a Model S, the restraint control module gets no power until every other SRS part is connected. We reconnect the battery at the end, with every airbag, sensor and belt plugged in.
We switch the ignition on and watch the SRS lamp light for its check and go out. A lamp that stays on sends the car back to the first step.

The cost of car airbag repair in Dubai depends on 4 factors. Two are the parts that fired and the parts the maker replaces with them. Sensor and wiring damage near the crash and a pedestrian protection bonnet, where fitted, are the other 2.
On a Model 3, a fired pretensioner means a new restraint control module and a new belt and buckle at each fired pretensioner. Tesla adds every belt and buckle that an occupant wore in the crash.
A fired driver front airbag on a Model 3 adds the steering wheel. A driver front or knee airbag adds the steering column and its control module. A fired bonnet actuator adds both bonnet hinges, which are one-time parts.

On the Model S, Tesla bars SRS parts taken from another car and bars any repair of an SRS part. We fit new parts on every make and never refit a fired or salvaged part.
An undeployed Model S airbag module or pretensioner contains sodium azide, which is poisonous and highly flammable. We keep these parts out of a car's cabin when we move them, as Tesla instructs.
Tesla sets 85 °C as the heat limit for a Model S airbag module or pretensioner. We keep new modules below that limit and away from welding heat.
Tesla lists the clockspring with the driver airbag as an SRS part of the Model S steering system. We disarm the SRS before any steering wheel work, and refer a clock spring job that needs the maker's software to its dealer.
On the Model S, Tesla bars electrical test equipment on an SRS harness until every SRS part is disconnected. We unplug the airbags, sensors and belts before we test a harness, then replace the damaged part.
Tesla calls for new plugs and tape on a Model 3 front door shell after any front door repair. We replace them on every door we open. Body and SRS work happen in one workshop in Dubai Investment Park 2.
Car airbags and seat belts stay ready in Dubai with 6 habits from the makers' own owner advice. Set the seat back, keep the passenger panel clear and seat children in the back. Keep rear-facing child seats away from an active airbag, clean the covers with plain water and check the belts.
Hyundai names sitting too close as the greatest airbag risk, because an airbag needs space to inflate. Move the seat as far back as you can while keeping full control of the car.
Hyundai bars drink holders, stickers and other objects on the panel above the glove box, where the passenger airbag sits. It also bars a liquid air freshener near the instrument cluster or on the instrument panel.
Hyundai advises children under 13 in the back seat. Under the 2017 schedule, the UAE fines allowing a child under 10 or shorter than 145 cm to sit in the front seat.

No. An SRS lamp that stays on or comes on while driving means the system has a fault. The airbag can then fail to inflate properly in a crash. Book an SRS check and keep every seat belt fastened until the repair.
