Mustang oil services
We change the oil and filter to the grade Ford specifies for each engine. On a 2021 Mach 1 or a Dark Horse, the auxiliary engine oil cooler and its lines get a leak check at every change.
Mustang engine repair
Engine misfires, failed sensors and oil or coolant leaks are traced to the faulty part, which we then replace. The 2023 Middle East Mustang came with the 2.3 litre EcoBoost or the 5.0 litre Ti-VCT V8. Every 2026 Middle East Mustang runs the 4th generation of that V8.
Mustang transmission service and gearbox inspection
On the 2026 Mustang, the V8 drives through a 10-speed automatic or the 6-speed MT82-D4 manual, which has a dual-mass flywheel and a twin-disc clutch. We renew a worn clutch, inspect the flywheel, and replace a leaking gearbox seal or cooler line.
The 2021 Mach 1 automatic has its own oil cooler, rear axle cooling and a limited-slip differential. The Dark Horse manual also gets a dedicated oil cooler, and our gearbox checks cover each cooler circuit.
Mustang brake repair
Worn pads and discs come off for new ones, and the brake fluid is renewed. Every 2026 Middle East grade has six-piston front callipers with larger discs, as the 2021 Mach 1 did. The 2026 GT also carries an electric hand-operated parking brake, which we release electronically before rear pad work.
Mustang suspension repair and wheel alignment
The 2026 Mustang pairs a MacPherson-strut double ball-joint front end with an integral-link rear and MagneRide damping. We renew a leaking damper or a worn ball joint or bush, and align the wheels after any part that moves the geometry.
On the 2026 GT, the front tyres are 255/40R19 and the rears 275/40R19, so each axle gets new tyres in its own size.
Mustang AC repair and service
Every 2026 Middle East Mustang has dual-zone automatic climate control. We pressure-test the AC circuit to find a leak, replace the leaking or failed part and recharge the system to Ford's figure for the car.
Mustang battery replacement and electrical repair
Ford Middle East includes a battery check at every interval of its maintenance schedule, and our Mustang services test the battery and the charging output. A battery or alternator that fails the test is replaced. For an electrical fault, we follow the stored code to the wire, connector or module and repair it.
Mustang Mach-E service
The 2026 Mach-E GT (CX727) has 2 electric motors, a single-speed transmission and a 91 kWh usable NCM battery. We service its brakes, MagneRide dampers and tyres, while high-voltage battery, motor and climate system work goes to a Ford dealer.

What are the common problems with a Ford Mustang?
The common problems with a Ford Mustang on public record come from UAE and Qatari ministry recalls and from Ford's gearbox bulletins. They cover rear cameras, brake pedal parts, a body control unit, airbags and the 10-speed automatic, on cars from 2005 to 2025. Each item names the cars affected and what our workshop does next.
- Body control unit: Qatar recalled 2024 and 2025 Mustangs in 2025, as water leaking into the unit can cut the exterior lights. We test the lights and read the unit's codes, and a Ford dealer takes the car when this recall is still open.
- Rear camera: in 2023, the UAE recalled 2015 to 2017 Mustangs for damage to the boot lid wiring harness near the right-hand hinge. Qatar recalled 2015 to 2019 cars in 2026 for a blank or distorted reverse image, and 2020, 2021 and 2023 Mustangs in 2025. Our test covers the camera and its wiring, and an open recall is passed to a Ford dealer.
- Brake pedal bracket: Qatar recalled the 2020 Mustang in 2020, as the bracket can fracture under high load, above all on a track. We inspect the bracket, and an open recall on the car goes to a Ford dealer.
- Pedal stop bumper: in 2022, the UAE recalled 2014 and 2015 Mustangs, Explorers and Fusions, as heat, humidity and salty air break the bumper down. We check the bumper at the pedal, and a car still under this recall is handed to a Ford dealer.
- Airbag inflator: Qatar recalled 2005 to 2014 Mustangs over the driver airbag inflator in 2016, then over an airbag defect in 2019. A recall status look-up is our first step on these cars, and a Ford dealer carries out any open recall.
- 10-speed automatic shifts: Ford has acknowledged harsh or delayed engagement and shifts on Mustangs with the 10R80 gearbox. Ford traces them to an adaptive calibration that fails to adjust to hardware break-in, or to a clutch cylinder sleeve that moves and leaks. Our first step is a gearbox code read, and the valve body overhaul or adaptive learning drive cycle is left to a Ford dealer.

Ford calls the Mustang from the 2024 model onward the seventh generation. In the Middle East, the 2026 GT Premium comes as a fastback or a convertible, while the GT and the Dark Horse are fastbacks. Other Ford models, from the Explorer to the F-150, have their own page on our site.

At what distance is a Mustang service in Dubai due?
A Mustang service in Dubai falls due with the oil change: every 8,000 km or 6 months on Ford Middle East's schedule, whichever comes first. Ford asks for it sooner when the car tows, idles for long spells, runs on dusty roads or goes off-road. A new Mustang has its first inspection after 2 months or 3,000 km.
Ford Middle East's schedule checks the brake fluid at every appointment and adds a full brake inspection every 24,000 km. In its general long-life figures, coolant is changed at 161,000 km and spark plugs at 241,000 km. Drive belts are inspected at 200,000 km, and gearbox fluid is changed at 250,000 km.
Records from Dubai's main airport show rising sand on 17.7 days annually. A Mustang driven through them counts as dusty use, so we change its oil and filter ahead of the 8,000 km mark.

Driver-assist and dealer work referred
The 2026 Middle East Mustang carries Pre-Collision Assist with automatic emergency braking, Blind Spot Information and a Lane-Keeping System. Sensor calibration for those systems, engine and gearbox rebuilds and jobs needing Ford special tools go to a Ford dealer.

Do you service the Mustang Mach-E?
Yes. We cover the Mach-E outside its high-voltage system, which a Ford dealer handles. Ford names 0 °C to 45 °C as that battery's storage range and asks that a car parked 30 days or more stays plugged in.
Can I get a pre-purchase inspection on a Mustang I want to buy?
