The km or month mark on the record
The service record shows when, and at what km, the last visit took place, and the maker's schedule sets the gap to the next one. Once the odometer or the calendar passes that gap, the visit is due. We carry out every item that visit lists, from the oil to the inspections.

Vibration in the steering wheel
Vibration in the steering wheel on the road is a change to have checked. We road test the car to find the speed at which the vibration starts. Then we balance the wheels or replace the worn steering or suspension part behind it.

Brake sounds or a different pedal feel
A brake fault shows as 4 changes when stopping. They are an unusual sound, a pull to one side, longer pedal travel and a hard-to-push pedal. We gauge pad and disc thickness and look over the brake lines, then replace the worn or leaking part.

A new exhaust note or smell
A change in the exhaust sound or a smell of exhaust fumes inside the car needs a check. We inspect the exhaust system for a blowing joint or a holed section and replace the leaking part.

Fluid drops under the car
AC condensate dripping while or after the system runs is normal. Drops of oil, coolant or brake fluid mean a leak. We track the drip to the seal, hose or gasket that lets it out and replace that part.

Stale air or weak airflow from the vents
An unpleasant smell, poor airflow or windows that fog up and are hard to clear point to a clogged cabin air filter. We replace a clogged cabin filter when the cabin shows these signs, ahead of its scheduled change.
