A failing Lamborghini AC shows 6 signs. Warm vents, cooling that weakens in traffic and cold air that stops and then returns are the cooling signs. Weak airflow, a hiss and a click or buzz complete the list, and we repair the part behind each one.
Warm air at the coldest setting has 3 sources: a low charge, a compressor that stays disengaged, or a faulty pressure switch. The switch blocks the compressor when circuit pressure drops below about 2 bar. Each of the 3 gets a test, and we repair the one at fault.
Cooling that holds on the open road but weakens at a standstill signals a condenser airflow fault. At low speed, the fan alone pushes air through the condenser, and the pressure switch raises it to full speed above 16 bar. We check the fan motor, its relay and its control signal, then replace the faulty one.
An evaporator that ices up makes the AC drop out for a short spell and then recover. Below its set minimum of +0.5 °C, condensate on the coil freezes and the airflow stops. Our test covers the evaporator temperature sensor and its control, and we renew the part that lets the coil freeze.
Little air at the vents with the blower running comes from a clogged pollen filter or a failing blower. A dirty filter cuts the volume of air the vents deliver. A new pollen filter goes in, and we replace the blower when its test shows a fault.
A hissing sound from the AC can signal a refrigerant leak, and it is loudest as the circuit pressure changes. The leak can sit in a line, a porous seal or the condenser. We replace the leaking part that our leak search in step 4 locates.
A clicking sound as the AC switches on can signal a worn magnetic clutch on a belt-driven compressor. Booming, whistling or buzzing behind the dashboard can mean the expansion valve is partly blocked. We fit a new clutch or compressor, or a new expansion valve.

Lamborghini AC failure in Dubai comes from 6 causes. Lamborghini itself names 2 of them: a leaking pressure sensor on early Aventadors and AC software on the 2015 Huracán. Refrigerant leaks, condenser heat, engine-bay heat and moisture inside the circuit make up the other 4, and they strike any model.
In August, the mean daily high at Dubai airport is 41.9 °C. From June through October, every daily maximum there is 30 °C or higher. We test a warm Lamborghini AC for each of these causes and repair the one we find.
A repair that fixes the cause gives the owner these results:
At a red light in August, the vents keep blowing cold, because the fan and the charge we restore hold the high-side pressure in range.
A sealed circuit sends cool refrigerant back to the compressor, which protects it from overheating through the summer.
No ice forms on the evaporator, so the cooling does not drop out halfway through a journey.
With a clean pollen filter, the blower moves its full volume of air into the Lamborghini cabin.

The current Lamborghini range, the Urus, Urus SE, Revuelto and Temerario, runs its AC on R1234yf. An R134a system sits in the 2012 to 2014 Aventador Coupé and Roadster. We confirm the gas in the circuit before we connect a refrigerant station.
AC work on a Lamborghini Revuelto, Temerario or Urus SE goes to a Lamborghini dealer when it involves high-voltage parts. On these hybrids, the electric AC compressor runs on high voltage, and its high-voltage cables carry orange insulation in visible areas. We refer every high-voltage AC job on these 3 hybrids to a Lamborghini dealer.
An electric AC compressor takes insulating oil and no other type. Replacing one is work for technicians qualified on high-voltage systems. On all 3 hybrids, READY on the instrument cluster in P means the electric drive is on.
The repair runs in 6 steps:
Condenser fins, the cooling fan and every pipe joint get a visual check for damage and oil traces. The compressor safety valve opens at a set pressure to protect the circuit, so it gets a check too. We replace the damaged parts this inspection finds.
We connect a scan tool and read the fault memory and live data of the climate control module. A stored code separates a sensor or wiring fault from a refrigerant fault. The sensor, actuator or circuit that the code names is then repaired or replaced.
High-side and low-side pressures go on our record with the engine running, the AC at maximum and the blower at full speed. The air temperature at the centre vent goes on the record as well. All readings are compared with the maker's chart for the day's heat and humidity, and readings off the chart lead to step 4.
We sweep an electronic leak detector along every hose, union, seal and component. The leaking hose, union or seal comes out, and a new part closes the circuit.
We fit a new hose, condenser, evaporator or compressor in place of the failed one. After a compressor failure, the lines get 3 flushing cycles. Parallel-flow condensers do not allow flushing, and we replace them after a compressor failure.
Evacuation removes the air and moisture that raise working pressures, and a vacuum that holds clears the circuit for charging. Our station then weighs in the charge the car specifies, and we repeat the step 3 readings.

Lamborghini AC work in Dubai is costed on 4 factors: the leak site, the failed part, any flushing, and the refrigerant type and charge. A leak in the evaporator is harder to detect than a leak at a hose, so it takes more labour. Our price follows the faults the tests find.

Old refrigerant goes into our recovery machine and never into the air. The UAE accepted the Kigali Amendment on 19 April 2024, which commits it to cut HFC consumption.
The granules in a receiver-drier trap moisture, and once saturated they cannot be regenerated. Any job of ours that opens the circuit includes a new drier.
Equipment for R1234yf is made for that refrigerant alone, and R134a circuits take different service fittings. We match the station to the gas in the circuit.
Dye fitted at the car factory is common, so a circuit can hold dye before anyone adds more. An overdose cuts lubrication and can clog compressor valves, and we check for factory dye first.
Iron filings in the circuit at a compressor change mean the expansion valve is replaced too. Our compressor jobs include that check for filings.
PAG compressor oil absorbs moisture from the air. We fill new compressors from a container opened for that job.

Lamborghini AC lasts longer in Dubai through 4 habits: a pre-summer check, a monthly AC run, planned pollen filter changes and earlier ones after sand. The monthly run is the owner's part, and we carry out the check and the filter work at our workshop.
An AC check belongs before the weather turns hot. In Dubai, the mean daily high climbs to 33.7 °C in April from 28.9 °C in March, so March is the month to book it. We carry out that pre-summer check at our DIP 2 workshop.
