We carry out the items JLR's schedule lists as due, from oil and filters to the vehicle check, and reset the service reminder.
The old oil drains out, a new filter goes on and the engine is refilled to the grade JLR lists for it.
We repair coolant and oil leaks, camshaft cover valves, cooling systems and turbochargers on the Ingenium four-cylinder engines, the AJ126 V6 and the AJ133 V8.
The 8-speed automatic, the transfer case of all-wheel-drive models and the rear differential are inspected, repaired and refilled with fresh fluid.
We replace dampers, ball joints, arms, bushes and air springs, then set the wheel alignment and the steering angles.
An I-PACE (X590) can carry optional self-levelling air suspension with continuous variable damping, which we repair as well.
Pads, discs, wear sensors and brake fluid are renewed here. Where the car has an electric parking brake, it is retracted and calibrated by diagnostic tool.
We trace refrigerant leaks, replace compressors, condensers and dryers, and fill the circuit to the charge on the car's AC label.
Each 12 V battery and its charging system are tested first. The new battery matches the type the car left the factory with.
Warning messages, battery drains and dead switches are traced to the module or wiring behind them, and we repair or replace that part.
A Jaguar has 6 common problems on record in a GCC recall or a JLR bulletin, and we repair or refer each one. Recalls cover a blank instrument cluster and an E-PACE airbag. JLR bulletins cover a thermostat leak, a gearbox sump leak, a battery drain and a false suspension warning.
Our workshop covers these Jaguar lines, each named with the code JLR gives it:
JLR's UAE Jaguar site lists the F-PACE, E-PACE, I-PACE and F-TYPE as its range today. The XE, XF, XJ and XK come to us as earlier models.
A Jaguar in Dubai is due for service at 13,000 km or 12 months on JLR's UAE schedule, whichever it reaches first. A grace window of 1 month or 1,600 km applies on either side of that point. The distance on the car then sets a major or a minor service.
JLR's interval plans from the 2013 models of the XF, XJ and XK name the UAE and the other 5 GCC states. For the XF and XJ, those plans set an A Service, then a B Service, at 6 months or 13,000 km. The 5.0 litre XK runs at 6 months or 12,000 km.
Driving on dusty or sandy roads, or in heat above 50 °C, counts as arduous use for JLR, which advises earlier oil changes. For a Jaguar used that way, we bring the next oil change forward. On these 3 lines, brake fluid runs on time alone, at 36 months regardless of distance.
A Jaguar job here moves through 4 steps, from the model code to a clean fault memory.
We take the JLR model code from the car, such as X761 for the F-PACE, and write down the warning text word for word.
Diagnostic software reads the stored codes in the engine, gearbox, chassis and body modules. Each code directs the next test to one part or one piece of software.
We replace or repair the part behind each code, following JLR's procedure for that model.
Stored codes are cleared once the repair is done. A road test then repeats the conditions that brought the warning on, and a second module read shows the memory empty.

The methods below apply to every Jaguar we take in.
On an XF (X260) parked in bright sun, the AEB camera can overheat, at temperatures above about 98 °C. We retest a camera warning once the car has cooled, and refer any calibration to a Jaguar dealer.
Long spells of high heat can soften the tyre sidewalls of an XE, and JLR advises against letting pressure out of hot tyres. Our technicians check the sidewalls and set pressures with the tyres cold.
JLR's UAE site warns that a tyre pressure sensor not original to the car does not work properly in the region's heat. We fit sensors to the original specification.
Hybrid and high-voltage systems, carbon ceramic brakes, gearbox rebuilds and jobs that call for JLR special tools go to a Jaguar dealer. We take on the rest of the car.
Each job card records the model code, the engine, the km reading and the work done. The next service builds on that record.
From the XK (X150) to the I-PACE (X590), each Jaguar we cover is worked on at our Dubai Investment Park 2 workshop.

The cost of Jaguar service in Dubai turns on the model code, the engine and its oil, and the major or minor service due. Any repair the fault memory shows adds to it, and our quote rests on the car's own data.
Yes. We test the startup and auxiliary batteries of the I-PACE (X590) and work on its brakes, tyres and suspension. The high-voltage system includes its AC compressor, so AC and high-voltage work go to a Jaguar dealer.
Yes. Our work on the F-PACE P400e and the E-PACE P300e covers the petrol engine, brakes, suspension and 12 V side. Their hybrid system, from the battery to the electric motor, goes to a Jaguar dealer.
Yes. We service the XK (X150), XJ (X351) and first XF (X250). JLR's plan for these cars from the 2011 models, which names Dubai, set the 5.0 litre at 6 months or 12,000 km. The other petrol XF and XK engines ran at 6 months or 8,000 km.
