Warm air from the face vents
Air that stays warm at the lowest temperature setting means the circuit is short of refrigerant or the compressor no longer pumps. We find which of the two it is, then repair the leak or replace the compressor.
Jaguar specialistsJaguar AC repair in Dubai happens at our Royal Prince Auto Care workshop in DIP 2. We fit a new dryer to every opened circuit.

The work we carry out on Jaguar models at our Dubai Investment Park workshop. Open the full details below.
A Jaguar AC fault shows 6 signs. The face vents blow warm, the airflow drops while the blower roars, or a buzz comes from the dashboard. The cooling fan can also run nonstop, the cabin can stick at 22 °C, or the rear seats get no air.
Air that stays warm at the lowest temperature setting means the circuit is short of refrigerant or the compressor no longer pumps. We find which of the two it is, then repair the leak or replace the compressor.
An F-PACE (X761) that moves little air, or roars at full blower speed, can have a restricted pollen filter. We replace the filter, then check the fit of the front wing splash shields and the windscreen cowl panel.
On an XF (X250), XJ (X351), XK (X150) or F-TYPE (X152), the aspirator fan of the cabin temperature sensor can vibrate against its dashboard grille. We refit the fan in position and replace it when the noise stays.
After an HVAC module update, the engine cooling fan of an E-PACE (X540) can run all the time. JLR traced this to an error in the HVAC software. Our workshop confirms the fault, and a JLR dealer loads the corrected software.
An XE (X760), XF (X260) or F-TYPE (X152) can hold the cabin at 22 °C and show "A/C System in Hibernation" on the touch screen. The system is waiting for its first automatic run, which lubricates the compressor. Our technician runs JLR's wake-up routine and repairs any leak when the message stays.
Rear passengers in an XF (X260) with rear climate control can feel no air while the front stays cool. Defrost mode disables the rear controls and stops rear airflow, and Lock Rear Panel disables the rear switches. We check both settings, then test the rear booster blower and repair the fault.
Each Jaguar AC job draws on these stages:
The regas, which owners also call a Jaguar AC gas refill, comes last, once the circuit is sealed. All of this work happens in our DIP 2 workshop.
Jaguar AC failure in Dubai has 6 causes. Two are compressor faults on named models: wear on older cars and a wrong run-in after replacement. The others are refrigerant leaks, engine overheating, condenser heat load and moisture in the circuit.
Dubai averages 41.9 °C as its daily high in August. During F-PACE testing in Dubai, JLR noted that a car parked in direct sun can heat to 70 °C inside.
Our tests show which cause applies to your Jaguar, and the repair targets that cause.
The work we do leaves a Jaguar owner with these results:
Face vents stay cold while the car waits in summer traffic, because the circuit is sealed and fully charged.
Money spent on a new compressor is not lost to a failure soon after fitting.
A clear pollen filter lets an F-PACE move its full volume of air, and the blower stays quiet at the top setting.
No buzz from an aspirator fan out of position reaches the cabin.
A circuit without leaks holds its charge, with nothing to top up between checks.
Rear passengers in an XF (X260) with rear climate control set their own airflow and temperature again.
AC repair on a Jaguar I-PACE differs because its A/C compressor is part of the high-voltage system, which has its own orange coolant. We refer I-PACE AC work to a JLR dealer. Our workshop repairs the AC on the petrol and diesel Jaguar models listed further down this page.
On an I-PACE (X590) with poor cooling, the A/C charge port valve can leak. JLR's instruction for a suspected port leak: keep the machine off that port, and recover the refrigerant through the high or low side.
These 6 steps take the car from its fault codes to a retested circuit:
We read the stored climate fault codes and ask when the warm air starts: standing still, moving slowly or at any speed. The codes separate a sensor or switch fault from a refrigerant fault.
We run the engine with the AC on full cold and record both circuit pressures and the centre vent temperature. Outside temperature and humidity are logged too, so the readings can be checked against the maker's chart.
An electronic detector follows the pipes, joints, condenser and compressor before any refrigerant goes in. A leak it finds is repaired at its source, never covered by a top-up.
The leaking hose, condenser, evaporator or compressor comes out, and the new part goes in. When the compressor has failed, the circuit is flushed as well, and we renew any part that a flush cannot clean.
A vacuum pump draws out air and moisture, and the gauge must hold steady before charging starts. We then fill the refrigerant by weight, to the charge stated on the AC label.
A new compressor stays off while the circuit is charged with the engine stopped and during the 5-minute idle that follows. Next, the AC runs at idle for a 5-minute period at 22 °C, with three quarters of top blower speed and all dashboard vents open. We then repeat the step 2 readings.
Book by phone or WhatsApp, and name the model and the message or noise the car shows.
The cost of Jaguar AC repair in Dubai rests on leak position, the failed part, any flush after a compressor failure and the charge weight. An evaporator leak sits behind the dashboard, where it is harder to find and reach than a hose leak. We price the work from the test results.
Our Jaguar AC work rests on these practices:
We identify each car by JLR's model code, such as X250 or X260 for the XF, because the AC faults differ between generations.
An XE (X760) or XF (X260) carries its AC label on the left-side bonnet locking platform, and an F-TYPE on the left inner wing. We read its refrigerant and charge details before any machine is connected.
Replacement AC parts go in new and equivalent to the car's original equipment, as Jaguar specifies for the XE.
Whenever a compressor is replaced, we set its oil to the quantity the whole circuit takes.
None of the old refrigerant is vented: a recovery machine draws it out and holds it.
We look over the condenser, cooling fan, drive belt and pipe joints on every AC job and replace any damaged part.
We work on the Jaguar lines below, each listed with its JLR model code:
Jaguar AC lasts longer in Dubai when the owner keeps 4 habits. Book a pre-summer check, run the AC weekly, renew the pollen filter after sandy drives and watch the footwell for water. Together they guard the refrigerant charge, the compressor and the airflow, and we carry out the pre-summer check.
April is the month for the check: the mean daily maximum in Dubai is 33.7 °C then, against 38.2 °C a month later. A slow leak found in April is repaired before the heat arrives.
Jaguar lists running the AC among the weekly owner checks for the XE (X760) and XF (X260). Each run keeps the internal parts of the system lubricated.
Sand and dust load the pollen filter, and a clogged filter cuts airflow and lets the evaporator ice up. Have it replaced sooner after dusty or sandy driving.
Water inside the footwell comes from a blocked, unseated or disconnected evaporator drain hose. We clear the drain or refit the hose.

No. A Jaguar that needs gas has a leak, because a sealed circuit holds its refrigerant. Each top-up loses more compressor oil through that leak. We repair the leak first, and the regas follows.
Yes. JLR sets a run-in for a compressor replaced on an XF (X250), XJ (X351), F-TYPE (X152) or XK (X150). A new unit lacks lubrication early in its life. We carry out the run-in on every compressor we fit to these models.
No. Jaguar calls condensation drips from the AC of an XE (X760) or XF (X260) normal, and puddles under an F-TYPE (X152) no cause for concern. Other fluid under the car can mark a leak, and we trace and repair its source.
An overheating XF (X260) or F-TYPE reduces engine power and can switch the AC off. Jaguar describes this as a normal strategy that cuts the engine's load and helps it cool. We test the engine cooling system and repair the fault behind the overheating.
Jaguar AC repair in Dubai is available in DIP 2, at Royal Prince Auto Care, for the XE, XF, XJ, XK, F-TYPE, F-PACE and E-PACE. We refer I-PACE AC work to a JLR dealer, because its compressor belongs to the high-voltage system.
