Our Range Rover repair in DIP 2 covers the whole car. The cards run from scheduled service and the drivetrain to the chassis, climate, electrics and body.
Range Rover oil change
Each engine gets oil that meets the STJLR code JLR lists for it, with a new filter.
Range Rover engine repair
We repair coolant and oil leaks, timing chains and turbochargers on petrol, diesel and hybrid engines.
On the L460, engines run from 48-volt mild hybrid Ingenium sixes to the P530 V8, with the P440e and P510e as plug-in hybrids.
Range Rover gearbox and transmission repair
We read the gearbox and transfer box control units, trace leaks between the two units and change their fluids.
Every L461 Range Rover Sport pairs an eight-speed automatic with Intelligent All-Wheel Drive.
Range Rover suspension repair and wheel alignment
We leak-test air springs, air lines and the air supply unit, replace dampers, arms and bushes, and set the alignment afterwards.
The Range Rover was the first luxury SUV with Electronic Air Suspension, in 1992.
Range Rover brake services
We replace pads and discs as axle sets, change the brake fluid and set the electric parking brake through diagnostics.
On the L460, pressing P engages Park and applies the electric parking brake together.

On an L405, long spells of high heat soften the tyre sidewalls.

We find refrigerant leaks, fit new compressors and condensers, and charge the front and rear circuits by weight.
In 2013, JLR set up a test centre in Al Barsha, Dubai, for heat and ventilation systems, where desert summers reach 48 to 50 °C.
Range Rover battery service
We test the 12 V start-up battery and the charging side before a replacement, and check the 48 V system on mild hybrids.
The L460 and L461 carry that battery beneath the front row seat, behind an access cover.
Range Rover electrical repair
We trace warning messages, battery drains and dead switches to the wiring or module behind them, then repair or replace it.
Range Rover body shop and care services

What we see
What are the common problems on a Range Rover?
A Range Rover has 6 common problems backed by a GCC recall or a JLR bulletin. They are 2 airbag defects, a blank instrument cluster, an air supply leak, a drained 12 V battery and AC cut-outs on plug-in hybrids. Each item below names the models it affects.
- Airbag connector: Kuwait recalled the 2022 to 2027 Range Rover, as an airbag connector can corrode over time. Saudi Arabia recalled 2020 to 2026 Range Rover models, among other Land Rovers, for a driver airbag connector defect. We refer a car with an open recall to a Land Rover dealer.
- Evoque passenger airbag: Qatar recalled the 2020 to 2025 Evoque, because the airbag can tear after improper folding at assembly. An Evoque with this recall still open belongs with a Land Rover dealer, and we refer it there.
- Blank instrument cluster: Qatar recalled 2017 Range Rover and Range Rover Sport models, as the virtual instrument cluster went blank intermittently. We read the cluster fault memory and pass the recall work to a Land Rover dealer.
- Air supply leak: an L405 or L494 can show a warning lamp and hold the car at normal height. JLR traced this to air escaping at the compressor's expansion chamber elbow. We fit a new expansion chamber and leak-test the system.
- Drained 12 V battery: JLR has documented L405 and L494 plug-in hybrids that run down the start-up battery while charging. The cause is Powertrain Control Module software, so we confirm the stored code, and a Land Rover dealer loads the update.
- Hybrid AC cut-outs: a low system power inhibit stops the electric AC compressor on plug-in hybrid L405, L494, Velar and Evoque models. The cause lies in the power supply, which we trace and repair, referring any high-voltage fault to a Land Rover dealer.

When is a Range Rover service due in Dubai?
A Range Rover service in Dubai falls due at 13,000 km or 12 months, whichever arrives first, on JLR's UAE schedule. JLR's GCC service plan alternates an Oil Service with an A Service or a B Service. The grace period runs 1 month or 1,600 km before or after the due point.
Whatever the distance, brake fluid is due every 36 months and coolant once a decade on the Range Rover, Range Rover Sport and Evoque.

The cost of Range Rover repair in Dubai turns on the generation, the engine, the part that failed and the access it needs. Our fault reading and tests set which of these apply.
Do you repair Range Rover plug-in hybrids?
Yes. Our work covers the engine, brakes, suspension, AC and 12 V side of these cars. They include the P440e and P510e Range Rover, the P510e Range Rover Sport, the Velar P400e and the Evoque P300e. Their high-voltage system goes to a Land Rover dealer.
Do you service older Range Rover models?
Yes. We work on the previous L405 Range Rover and L494 Range Rover Sport alongside the current L460 and L461. The L405 arrived in 2012 with the 3.0 litre TDV6 and 4.4 litre SDV8 diesels and a supercharged petrol V8, each on an eight-speed automatic.
Can I drive a Range Rover on sand in Dubai?
Yes. Terrain Response 2 on the Velar includes a Sand mode, and the L405 has a Sand program for soft ground. In extremely soft, dry sand, switching off Dynamic Stability Control on an L405 can help it find grip. We check the air filter and underbody after desert use.
