A Bentley shows 6 oil signs: the oil lamp, a W12 tick, oil marks under a V8, an overfill, repeat V8 top-ups and dark oil. Each one leads back to the level, a leak or a worn part. We find which one applies to your car and put it right.
Every Bentayga carries this lamp in its Driver Instrument Panel, and so does each third or fourth-generation Continental GT, GTC and Flying Spur. It lights when the oil level calls for a top-up. We add oil of the correct specification and note the km and the amount.
A W12 Bentayga, or a third-generation W12 Continental GT, GTC or Flying Spur, can tick from the upper engine and show low oil pressure warnings. Bentley traces this to rocker arm and follower wear at the valve stem. We check the sump for metal debris, then replace the worn valvetrain parts.
On a Bentayga V8, or a third-generation V8 Continental GT, GTC or Flying Spur, oil can seep from the tell-tale holes of engine fixings. The fixings sit on the cylinder deactivation solenoids, the fuel rail and the vacuum assembly. Bentley's fix is upgraded fixings, and we fit all 16 solenoid fixings as one set.
An overfilled engine dips its crankshaft into the sump oil, which whips up extra oil mist. The level reading then sits above the maximum mark. We drain the surplus until the level sits between the marks.
A V8 Bentayga, or a third-generation V8 Continental GT, GTC or Flying Spur, that needs oil between services can light the engine oil warning lamp. Our test tops the engine up to its maximum mark, then logs 1,000 km of driving and the oil needed to reach that mark again. Above 0.7 litres, we weigh the drained oil and repair the cause of the loss.
Combustion soot darkens engine oil, and fresh oil can turn dark soon after a change. Colour alone is no reliable measure of its condition. Our judgement of the next change rests on distance, date and level.

6 causes wear out Bentley engine oil in Dubai: stop-and-go traffic, dilution, engine speed and heat, sand, dry seals and turbocharger lubrication. Bentley names the first 3 as factors in the rate of oil use. Dubai adds the sand and the heat, and every Bentley engine in the line-up uses turbochargers.
Dubai International Airport records a mean daily high of 40.3 °C in June, rising to 41.9 °C in August. The same station logs rising sand on 17.7 days annually.

The return-stop valve of a fresh filter stops the filter and oil channels from emptying when the engine is switched off. Oil then flows from the moment the engine starts.
Soot and dust particles turn engine oil abrasive and score the parts they reach. Fresh oil with a fresh filter removes them from the circuit.
When a filter clogs, its bypass valve opens and lets unfiltered oil past. A fresh element keeps every litre passing through the filter media.
A fresh sealing ring keeps the sump plug tight after the change. On a plug with a fixed ring, the complete plug is replaced.
Oil quality and viscosity are factors in how fast a Bentley engine uses oil. The listed oil holds both at Bentley's specification.
Engine oil also cools the engine and works its hydraulic components. Fresh oil keeps all 3 jobs going between changes.
A Bentley takes the oil Bentley specifies for its engine type and MY, ordered against the VIN of the car. In its 2013 listing for 2012-on Continental models, Bentley gave 0W-40 for the 6.0 litre W12. The 4.0 litre V8 took 5W-30 to VW 504.00 or VW 507.00 and no other.
Later engines, such as the 404/V8 and the 467/W12, follow their own listing. We match every bottle to the VIN before the fill.
The job runs in 6 steps, from the first check to the final level reading.
We confirm the engine fitted, such as a 404/V8, a 447/W12 or the 330/V6 of the Bentayga Hybrid. The oil follows that designation.
Sand sitting near the sump plug, the oil filler and the dipstick tube can drop into the new oil. We wipe each opening clean first, a step that counts most in sandy conditions.
Engine oil is hot enough to burn straight after a drive. Our drain starts once it has cooled, and the old filter element comes out with it.
The first pour ends at the minimum mark. Next, the engine idles until oil pressure builds.
We add the rest in 0.1 litre steps, with the car on level ground. Each reading follows a pause that lets the oil drain back to the sump.
A last check covers the engine bay and the underside of the car for oil at the plug or the filter. The job is complete once both joints stay dry with the engine running.

The cost of a Bentley oil change in Dubai rests on 4 factors. They are the engine, the oil Bentley lists for it, the filter element and any repair found at the change. A W12, a V8 and a hybrid V6 each take their own oil.

Bentley calls for a new oil filter element whenever the oil is drained and refilled. Old oil never goes back into the engine at our workshop.
We read the engine fault memory at each Bentley oil change. A stored code such as P052400 for low oil pressure on a W12 leads us to the cause, and we repair it.
Bentley accepts up to 0.8 litres per 1,000 km on the 404/V8 from 18MY and 1.0 litre on the 447/W12 and 467/W12 from 17MY. The 330/V6 hybrid from 19MY has a 0.5 litre limit. We compare each car with the figure for its engine and repair the cause when it runs above.
Additives can change the properties of engine oil and lead to serious engine failure. Our refill is the listed oil and nothing else.
The Bentayga Hybrid pairs its 3.0 litre V6 with a 94 kW motor. The core fourth-generation Continental GT adds a 140 kW motor to its 4.0 litre V8. We fill each petrol engine with the oil listed for it.
