Our major and minor services cover the checks and part changes that Alfa Romeo's Middle East schedule sets for the car's distance or age. On a MY24 Giulia, that schedule renews the spark plugs at 40,000 and 80,000 km, on the 2.0 T4 and the 2.9 V6 alike.
The old oil drains out, the filter is renewed and we pour in oil of the FCA specification set for the engine. For the MY24 Giulia and Stelvio, the 2.9 V6 takes SAE 5W-40 ACEA C3 to 9.55535-GH2. The 2.0 T4 takes SAE 0W-30 ACEA C2 to 9.55535-GS1.
A MY24 Giulia 2.9 V6 holds 6.5 litres with its filter. The 2.0 T4 takes 4.6 litres in the sump and 0.4 litre in the filter.
When the engine light comes on, we test the sensor, coil or injector its code names and renew whichever one fails. The MY24 Middle East Giulia's 2.0 T4 MultiAir makes 206 kW and 400 Nm, and its 2.9 V6 makes 375 kW and 600 Nm.
On the gearbox, we check for leaks and stored codes, then seal the leak and refill with the fluid Alfa Romeo specifies. Every engine in the MY24 Middle East Giulia drives through an eight-speed automatic, filled with ATF to 9.55550-AV5. On an AWD MY24 Giulia, the transfer case oil is due every 120,000 km or 96 months.
A MY24 Tonale with the 2.0 petrol engine uses a nine-speed automatic, and its oil is renewed at 240,000 km. The 2016 Middle East Giulietta and MiTo used the TCT twin dry clutch gearbox.
We replace pads and discs past their limit and change the brake fluid to DOT 4, the grade for a MY24 Giulia. That Giulia brakes by wire, so the pedal command travels electronically, not hydraulically. Alfa Romeo Middle East listed the same Integrated Brake System on the Tonale in 2024.
We renew worn arms, bushes and dampers, then set the wheel alignment. On the 2020 Middle East Stelvio, the rear runs on a four-and-a-half arm aluminium multilink, with a high quadrilateral at the front.
A MY24 Giulia with Alfa Active Suspension monitors its damping through an actuator on each shock absorber. Our test covers each actuator, and a damper whose actuator fails is replaced.
Our AC work finds the leak, repairs it and recharges the system with the refrigerant the car was built for. A MY24 Middle East Giulia, Giulia Quadrifoglio or Stelvio runs on R134a, and Alfa Romeo bars R1234yf and R12 from both Giulia versions.
A MY24 Tonale plug-in hybrid cools its high-voltage battery with the cabin AC refrigerant, so we send its AC work to an Alfa Romeo dealer.
We start with a battery load test and a charging output check, then fit a replacement matching the old battery's type and specifications. For a MY24 Giulia with Start & Stop Evo and for the MY24 Stelvio, that type is an Enhanced Flooded Battery.
In a MY24 Tonale, the 12 V lead battery is housed in the engine compartment. The Tonale Mild Hybrid carries its 48 V lithium-ion pack in the central tunnel.
Our electrical work reads the fault codes, tests the circuit they name and repairs the wire, plug or module that fails. The Alfa Connect Box in a MY24 Giulia has its own battery, which Alfa Romeo has replaced every 60 months whatever the distance. We renew it at that mark.
Alfa Romeo problems with a Stellantis bulletin behind them are a dead DNA selector, panel corrosion, turbo oil leaks and 2 engine code faults. The Giulia's brake wear warnings complete the list. Every item lists the affected models first and our response after.

Alfa Romeo Middle East's 2017 line-up held the Giulia, Giulia Quadrifoglio, 4C, 4C Spider and Giulietta. By 2023 it listed the Tonale, Stelvio, Giulia and both Quadrifoglio models.
An Alfa Romeo in Dubai is serviced at each step of Alfa Romeo's Middle East schedule. On the MY24 Giulia, checks fall at fixed distances and, where versions and markets provide it, fixed times. On a MY24 Giulia 2.9 V6, a step comes round each 10,000 km or 6 months, with new oil and a filter each time.
The MY24 Stelvio 2.9 V6 grid likewise renews oil and filter at each 10,000 km step. On the MY24 Giulia and Stelvio 2.0 T4, a panel warning calls each oil change from the car's use, never more than 12 months apart. The MY24 Giulia also gets fresh brake fluid at 24-month intervals.
A MY24 Tonale 2.0 T4 follows a 10,000 km or 6-month grid in the markets that provide it. The MY24 Tonale Mild Hybrid and Plug-in Hybrid run on a 15,000 km or 12-month grid instead. We read the car's indicator and its grid, then carry out the step it has reached.

The job card starts with every warning lamp and display message the car shows.
A full scan follows, logging stored codes in every control unit from the engine module to the drive style module.
Underneath, we look at the sump, turbo pipes, gearbox, dampers, brake lines and AC pipes for leaks and wear.
Live data and circuit tests link each code to the component or connection behind it.
The new part goes in, followed by every job on the car's current schedule step.
The fault memory is wiped and the service indicator reset. A drive on the road then confirms the repair.

On a MY24 Giulia, an Intelligent Battery Sensor sits at the negative terminal, and Alfa Romeo routes every charge through it. We clamp the charger so the current passes the sensor.
Dubai International Airport logged 17.7 days annually with rising sand from 1981 to 2010. So a MY24 Giulia here gets Alfa Romeo's dusty-area figures from us, with a new air cleaner every 10,000 km. Its accessory belt is renewed at 30,000 km or 24 months, not the 60,000 km or 48 months set for clean air.
Alfa Romeo has a MY24 Giulia topped up with oil of the specification already in the engine, never above the MAX mark. On the Quadrifoglio version, we also read the dipstick under the bonnet.
For particularly harsh climates, Alfa Romeo recommends 60 per cent coolant to 40 per cent demineralised water in the MY24 Giulia. Dubai's August daily maximum averaged 41.9 °C from 1991 to 2020, so we fill to that mix.
Stellantis files its Alfa Romeo bulletins under model codes. We match the fault to the bulletins for the car's code, so a fault with a published fix gets that fix.
Tonale hybrid and high-voltage work and driver-assistance calibration go to an Alfa Romeo dealer. Rebuilds of an engine or gearbox, and any job needing Alfa Romeo special tools, go there too. The rest of the servicing and repair stays with us.

Yes. We service both, and the 2.9 V6 bi-turbo of the 2016 Middle East Giulia Quadrifoglio sets its cylinder banks at 90 degrees. The 2018 Stelvio Quadrifoglio has a carbon fibre driveshaft, and the same engine can shut down 3 cylinders when full power is not needed.
Yes. The 2016 Middle East 4C pairs an all-aluminium 1750 turbo petrol of 240 hp and 350 Nm with a TCT twin dry clutch gearbox. An after-run pump keeps oil flowing through the turbo until it cools, and we replace that pump when it fails its test.
A MY24 Giulia keeps its battery in the boot, and the remote poles for jump starting sit in the engine compartment. Before disconnecting it, we pull out the manual boot opening strap. After reconnecting, we wait before starting the engine, as Alfa Romeo directs.
