A flashing check engine light on a 2024 Chevrolet from the Middle East range means a fault that can damage the emission control system. Weak ignition coils cause misfires, one engine fault behind the light. On the misfiring cylinder, we test the coil and the injector and renew whichever fails.
When the oil pressure light of a 2024 Chevrolet comes on while driving, stop, check the oil level and top it up. A light still on 10 seconds after a restart means the engine stays off. We bring the oil back to level, then replace the part that let the pressure fall.

Code P0300 can be set or in history. The fault covers Corvette, Silverado, Suburban, Tahoe and Camaro models with those engine codes. A 2024 Camaro V6 or V8 with an automatic gearbox runs on all or 4 of its cylinders.
On a 2024 Silverado 1500, Dynamic Fuel Management ranges from zero cylinders up to all 8. When a valve no longer moves, we replace the valve lifter oil manifold and the AFM lifters of the affected bank.
A Chevrolet engine job at our workshop follows these steps:
We write down when the fault shows: cold or hot engine, idle, traffic, towing or a long climb. Each later test repeats those conditions.
A diagnostic tester gives us the stored codes and the live engine data. A fault can exist with no code, and then the live data guides the next test. We replace the part that the codes and data confirm.
We raise the pressure in the cooling system and watch for a falling reading or a visible leak. A cap tester then checks the pressure at which the cap opens. Any hose, pump, radiator or cap that leaks gets replaced.
A compression test shows which cylinder loses pressure. In the leak-down test, bubbles in the coolant can point to air escaping past the head gasket. We replace a head gasket that fails this test.
We replace any coolant or air hose with cracks or leaks, and check the engine air filter for dirt. On a 2024 Tahoe, Silverado or Traverse, Chevrolet rules out cleaning the filter with water or compressed air, so we fit a new one.
Our road test recreates the conditions from the first step, cold start or traffic included. In the workshop afterwards, our technician checks the oil and coolant levels again and tops both up to their marks.

The cost of Chevrolet engine repair in Dubai depends on the engine, the failed part, the parts fitted with it and the spread of damage. A turbocharger replacement also calls for a new charge-air cooler, air filter and an oil and filter change.

On a 2024 Tahoe or Suburban, VIN code D marks the 5.3 litre L84 and VIN code L the 6.2 litre L87. We read that code to match parts and fluids to the engine fitted.
On a 2024 Tahoe, Silverado or Traverse, we fill DEX-COOL to the GM coolant specification, mixed 50/50 with clean, drinkable water. No other coolant goes in.
With the cap off, we run a Tahoe or Silverado until its temperature gauge shows about 90 °C. The level can drop by then, so the tank is topped up to the mark. The level is checked again once the coolant is cold.
A 2024 Corvette holds its oil in a dry sump tank, and a cold reading does not show the true level. We warm the engine to at least 80 °C and read the dipstick at idle.
A 2024 Silverado 1500 V8 takes SAE 0W-20, while its 2.7 litre takes SAE 5W-30. Every engine we open is refilled with the grade listed for it.
Steam and scalding coolant sit under pressure in a hot cooling system. We never turn the cap until the system and the cap have cooled.

A 2024 Tahoe carries a 5.3 litre L84 V8 or a 6.2 litre L87 V8. The Suburban has the 5.3 litre as standard, with the 6.2 litre available. A 2024 Silverado 1500 runs the 2.7 litre L3B, the L84 or the L87, and the Silverado HD a 6.6 litre L8T V8.
The 2024 Traverse uses the 2.5 litre LK0 turbo, and a 2024 Camaro has the 3.6 litre LGX V6 or the 6.2 litre LT1 V8. The Corvette Stingray runs the 6.2 litre LT2, the Z06 the 5.5 litre LT6 and the ZR1 a twin-turbo 5.5 litre LT7.

No. On a 2024 Chevrolet, a flashing light calls for lower speed and no hard acceleration or uphill grades. When it keeps flashing, park, switch off and wait at least 10 seconds before restarting. A light still flashing after that needs service, and we repair the fault behind it.
A 2024 Corvette keeps its oil in a dry sump tank, not in the oil pan. After an extended period parked without a start, oil seeps back into the pan, and the dipstick can show none. Chevrolet rules out adding oil on a cold reading, so warm the engine first.
On a 2024 Tahoe or Suburban, the filter is inspected every 10,000 km or every 6 months, whichever comes first. When REPLACE ENGINE AIR FILTER SOON appears, the filter is due at the earliest chance. We fit the new filter and reset the air filter life system.
