A low oil Check Control message means the V12 has used or lost oil since its last fill. Rolls-Royce shortened the 2015-model Ghost and Wraith service interval to cut these messages. We top up with the listed oil, then repair the leak or the burning behind the loss.
A fresh mark under the car after a stop signals a leak at a seal, a gasket, the drain plug or a line. We follow the trail to where the oil escapes and renew the leaking part.
An overfilled sump puts the crankshaft into the oil, which whips up extra oil mist. Too much oil added at the last change is one cause. We draw off the excess until the reading falls between the minimum and maximum.

A plug on a new sealing ring stays tight after the change. The garage floor under the sump stays dry.

A Rolls-Royce needs an oil change at the interval Rolls-Royce sets for its model. For a 2015-model Ghost or Wraith, that interval is 15,000 km or 12 months in the Rest of World. Rolls-Royce names no separate UAE value.

An RR11, RR12, RR21, RR22 or RR31 car carries an N74L or N74N V12 engine. We note the code of the engine fitted, then choose the oil listed for it.
Oil fresh from a drive can burn the skin. We let it cool, then open the sump and take out the old filter.
The new filter goes in first. The drain plug then takes a fresh sealing ring, or we fit a whole new plug when the ring is part of it, torqued correctly.
We pour to the minimum mark and stop there. The engine then idles until oil pressure is up.
Our top-up goes in slowly, 0.1 litre at a time, until the level reaches the maximum mark.
The drain plug and the filter housing get a final look for oil. We reseat or renew any joint that weeps.

Rolls-Royce engine oil lasts longer in Dubai with 4 habits from the owner. Check the level and look for leaks in summer, clean the filler for top-ups, add longer runs and use no additives. Each of our changes ends with the level set, and these habits protect the oil from there.
Before a summer drive, read the oil level and check the ground beneath the car for oil or water. Book the car in when the ground shows a drip.
Clean round the filler cap before you open it for a top-up. This matters most in dusty or sandy places.
Fuel reaches the engine oil on frequent short drives and raises its level. Plan longer runs between short trips where you can.
An additive alters the oil's properties and can end in serious engine failure. Top up with the listed oil and nothing else.
