We work through the inspect and replace items due at the car's service step and renew any part that fails its inspection. On a 2026 GV80 coded JX, the spark plugs are due every 70,000 km. A 2026 G70 has its valve clearance inspected every 90,000 km or 72 months.
Every Genesis oil change in our bays pairs a new filter with the grade Genesis sets for that engine. The 3.5 T-GDI of a 2026 GV80 coded JX holds 7.0 litres, with SAE 5W-30 to ACEA A5/B5 for the Middle East. The 2.5 T-GDI of that GV80 takes 6.2 litres of SAE 0W-30.
On Genesis T-GDi engines, we follow a misfire, boost fault or oil or coolant leak back to its source and fit a new part there. In UAE form, the G70 runs a 2,497 cc 2.5 T-GDi of 252 hp or a 3,342 cc 3.3 T-GDi V6 of 365 hp. A 2026 G70 has its intercooler hoses first inspected at 10,000 km or 6 months.
We read the gearbox codes, repair the leak, seal or sensor behind them and refill with the fluid Genesis names. In UAE form, the G70, G80 and GV70 all use an 8-speed automatic. A 2026 GV80 coded JX takes 9.2 litres of SP-IV-RR automatic fluid.
New pads go on as left and right sets for each axle, as Genesis requires, and we renew discs worn to their limit. A 2026 GV80 coded JX takes DOT-4 LV brake fluid. Its schedule replaces that fluid at the 40,000 km or 48-month step and again at 80,000 km or 96 months.
Worn shock absorbers, bushes and ball joints come out for new ones, and we finish with a wheel and steering alignment. On the UAE G80, the electronically controlled suspension sets its damping force automatically. G90 air suspension work goes to a Genesis dealer, as does the check a 2026 GV80 with camera-guided suspension needs after a new windscreen.
Once the leak is found, our technicians fit a new compressor, condenser or hose where one failed and weigh in the refrigerant. The compressor label shows whether a Genesis runs on R-1234yf or R-134a. A 2026 GV80 coded JX with 6 or 7 seats takes 1,100 to 1,150 g of R-134a in its UAE version.
We test the battery and charging output, fit a battery of the type on its label and trace wiring faults to the circuit that failed. On a 2026 GV80 coded JX, Genesis allows nothing but an AGM charger on an AGM battery. A 2026 G80 coded RG3 adds a 12 V lithium battery that powers software updates and AC drying while parked.
On the 48 V mild hybrid GV80 and G90 versions, we service the engine, brakes and suspension. A Genesis dealer handles their 48 V battery.
A 2026 GV80 coded JX has its mild hybrid belt inspected every 10,000 km or 12 months and replaced every 100,000 km or 48 months. High-voltage work on the Electrified G80, Electrified GV70 and GV60 goes to a Genesis dealer.
The common problems on a Genesis with a public record are Saudi and Qatari ministry recalls and a Genesis notice on the G70 fuel pump. They cover a fuel leak, the high-pressure fuel pump, a turbo oil pipe, the ABS unit, flood-damaged starters and the instrument cluster. Every line below gives the affected models and what we do next.

The JK1, JX1 and RG3 codes cover cars of 2021 to 2024, and RS4 the G90 of 2021 to 2025. Updated PE versions of the GV70, GV80 and G80 follow from 2025. On the UAE G90, a 48 V electric supercharger lifts the 3.5T-GDi from 375 to 409 hp.
A Genesis service in Dubai falls due at fixed steps of distance or months, whichever comes first. For a 2026 GV80 coded JX, Genesis's Middle East schedule sets each step at 10,000 km or 12 months. Every step renews the oil, oil filter and air cleaner filter, and the battery gets a check every 10,000 km or 6 months.
A 2026 GV80 or G80 can carry the Oil Life Management System, which predicts oil life from the way the car is driven. Under hard driving, its remaining oil life alert shows on the cluster before the normal interval. We reset the oil life after every oil change, from RESET on the infotainment screen.
Severe use cuts the oil and filter interval on a 2026 GV80 coded JX to 5,000 km or 6 months. Its automatic fluid is inspected on the Middle East schedule and replaced every 100,000 km under severe use. From the driving each owner describes, we pick the normal or severe schedule for the car.

Stored faults come off every control unit, and we note each cluster warning plus the remaining oil life on cars that show it.
The model, code and build date are checked against the Saudi and Qatari recall lists, and an open recall goes to a Genesis dealer.
With the car raised, the fuel lines, turbo oil pipe, brake hoses and gearbox seals are checked for leaks, cracks or wear.
We swap the failed part for a new one, then complete each schedule item due at the car's distance or months.

A 2026 G80 coded RG3 calls for full synthetic oil to API SN PLUS or above. Genesis moves a car run on mineral or semi-synthetic oil to the severe oil schedule. Full synthetic is the one type we put in a Genesis engine.
On a 2026 GV80 coded JX, a battery change starts with the negative cable off and the positive battery fuse box removed. We keep to that order on each GV80 battery we fit.
Genesis calls a squeal or groan normal on a 2026 GV80 with the large monoblock High Performance Brake. So our technicians measure pad and disc thickness first and renew them when they reach their wear limit.
The UAE GV80 Coupe comes with a 2.5 T-GDi, a 3.5 T-GDi or a 3.5 T-GDI e-S/C of 415 hp. We order each part by the car's chassis number, so it suits the engine in the bay.
Each day from June to October brings Dubai airport a high of at least 30 °C, and rising sand shows up in every month. Each Genesis service in our workshop checks the air filter, AC condenser and cooling fans, and we renew any that fail.
A Genesis dealer takes the calibration of driver-assistance cameras and radar, engine and gearbox rebuilds and Genesis special-tool work. We keep the servicing and the remaining repairs on the car.

The engine, the schedule step and the fluids set the price of a Genesis service in Dubai. In a 2026 GV80, the 3.5 T-GDI takes more oil than the 2.5 T-GDI, and the longer steps add items such as spark plugs. Any repair beyond the schedule items adds to the cost.
Yes. Genesis's schedule outside Europe gives the 2026 Electrified G80 steps of 30,000 km or 24 months, with the brake fluid replaced at each. Its cabin filter is renewed and its 12 V battery inspected every 15,000 km or 12 months. We carry out those items, and a Genesis dealer takes the high-voltage system.
On a 2026 G70, Idle Stop and Go works when the battery sensor is active and the battery is charged enough. Until both conditions are met, Auto Stop stays off. We charge each battery we fit to full and confirm that the sensor reads it.
No. On a 2023 G90 coded RS4, a warning appears when air escapes from the multi-chamber air suspension. Genesis then tells the driver to stop and call a tow truck. We refer the air suspension repair to a Genesis dealer.
